A few maps on hard difficulty. Some tinkering with classes went on here; I was mostly levelling Commando and Berzerker, while MaoTheCat was levelling Firebug; Noobface did his duty as SWAT, except when he completely deliberately changed mistakenly to Medic for a high with Hans.

After many tries, we eventually killed the Patriarch on Volter Manor on hard difficulty. We went through a number of combinations of perks before settling on Medic/Firebug/SWAT/Commando ? Demo.

I also had *way* too much fun with OBS’s new automatic closed-caption feature.

A good long session of Rocket League – don’t ask how long the upload took! – but as ever my first question is “uhhhh, how do I play this game again?”. We’ll see how accurate that is! An early win streak turned against us, as it eventually does.

There are as ever at this level (semi-pro, not in the ranked leagues) an abundance of mistakes; but with practice comes improvement, as the series will come to show.

Rocket League is still great fun! We are improving – getting less scrappy, more composed, better ball control – allegedly, but so are our opponents. Feel free to skip right past the bit where we lose 9-0…
