Another day, another Cook Off. (then a Bank Heist)
I said “less derp next time” and actually apart from a couple of rather hairy moments (eg 23:00) this Cook Off went more successfully than most we’ve attempted.
The Bank Heist that followed – starting at 1:01:50 – was overflowing with derp. First I was on the wrong build, so reconnected with a techforcer build. Then despite staring at the loadout screen, I forgot to bring a saw. Another reconnect. Things went from bad to worse when we started moving bags and we ended up with 2 in custody and 1 down… but we recovered (mostly) and ended up getting all the bags in.
Lesson? As Counter-Strike taught us, “Stick together team”.
